The “Hybrid Fiber Optic Current Transformer” project was established by the Ministry of Science and Technology in December 2004. The implementation period of the project is two years (June 2004 to June 2006). This project is aimed at the technical requirements of power system current detection and power monitoring for transformer products, and aims to apply optoelectronic technology to the development and manufacture of transformers. The main innovations are: the use of the new Rogowski coil to replace the electromagnetic induction transformer coil made of traditional silicon steel sheet, high measurement accuracy, low material cost; high-potential side fiber transmission laser function, high reliability; high and low potential measurement signals Optical fiber transmission, fiber-optic composite insulation is isolated, and the transformer is digital signal output, which is suitable for the transformation of the digital substation of the power grid.
